Automated processes ensure a high and uniform quality at Graasten Salater, Denmark.
Graasten Salater A/S was founded in 1947. The company produces and sells mayonnaise-based mixtures, tatar sauce and dressings to the Danish market. Through generations, the brands have been regular ingredients in every Dane´s pantry.
A close cooperation between Graasten Salater and DAN-Palletiser about palletising in the production area, has resulted in Graasten Salater having purchased two semi-automatic palletisers.
MK1 palletiser
The choice fell on the MK1 palletiser. This palletiser, which is well engineered without sensitive components, is delivered fully mounted and ready to install, entailing no extra time or costs for the installation to site.
These two cost saving MK1-A2 palletisers are handling EUR-pallets, 800 x 1200 mm, and four 1/4-pallets placed on a 1/1 EURpallet.

Other advantages of the palletisers are improved working environments, reducing the heavy, manual lifts and one-sided and repeated work routines, and that the machine is only little space demanding.
Production mainly to orders
To comply with production to order, with varying order volume and pallet sizes, Graasten Salater chose a ”stand-alone” installation.
Standard
”The MK1-A2 palletisers are the ideal solution in our production, beacuse the palletisers are based on a standard construction and therefore we can use them for all applications in our production area. A new pallet pattern can be up and running in less than 30 minutes” , says Carsten Reinholdt Tarp, site manager.
