Flexible palletising system to Carlsberg Sweden - Ramlösa Plant

For many years there has been a close co-operation between Carlsberg Sweden and DAN-Palletiser A/S. It started back in 1989 when DAN-Palletiser supplied a fully automatic palletising system type MK 3 to Ramlösa Plant in Helsingborg. 

Increased the capacity of the palletiser
By the investment at that time in the fully automatic palletiser the employees were relieved of the heavy lifts. When the machine was taken into production in 1989 it was operating with cans in trays. However, due to the flexibility of the palletiser it was possible later on to increase the capacity of the palletiser, and to run ½ and 1½ PETbottles as well.

DAN-Palletiser develops, produces and markets individually adapted palletising systems of high quality. Therefore 18 years passed until Ramlösa Plant had to replace the palletiser in 2007 – again with a fully automatic palletising system type MK 3 from DAN-Palletiser.

Flexible strong machines
“We know from experience that DAN-Palletiser has a high service level, and the order was given to DAN-Palletiser because they are building flexible, strong machines with a low need of service and spare parts” says techn. manager Curt Leidig, Ramlösa Plant.

One of the reasons for replacing the old palletiser was the palletiser’s old PLC-control from Siemens as it turned out, little by little, to be difficult to get spare parts for the PLC. The new palletiser can palletise ½ liter and 1½ liter mineral water in PET-bottles which are shrinked in plastic in several different sizes.

Up to 65 packs per min.

Depending upon the size the palletiser has a capacity of up to 65 packs per min. If Ramlösa Plant in the future has a demand for new patterns this is very easily done on the touch panel. Just as it is possible to set up the palletiser for running other pallet types than the EUR-pallets running in the system today.

“We have chosen a palletiser from DAN-Palletiser because they supply machines with a compact, but at the same time convenient layout suitable for our needs – and at the lowest total costs” says techn. manager Curt Leidig, Ramlösa Plant.

Based upon the co-operation during many years with Carlsberg Sweden and Ramlösa Plant, DAN-Palletiser is also solving other jobs for the company within the internal pallet- and pack transport.
